It’s here…the dentists’ favourite week of the year! Kids might be dreaming about all that candy, but you can bet more than a few parents are scheming how to reduce some of that Halloween sugar intake. Some trade toys for treats. Some chocolate just magically makes its way to Mom’s late night snack jar…
Kidsplace is gearing up for its second week (Oct. 28 – Nov 1) of the Halloween theme and we have some fun activities planned. You know the drill…read on to find out all the (not so) spooky details!
Since we’re talking all things Halloween this week, of course costumes and dressing up are involved! On Monday, Oct. 28 or Tuesday, Oct. 29 (depending which class you’re in!) please have your child wear orange or black or both!
Our Halloween parties will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 30, and Thursday, Oct. 31! Children are welcome to wear their costumes (please no scary costumes, and no weapons of any kind, eg. toy swords, guns, knives, etc). We also need volunteers to bring some snacks to share. Please check out the sign up sheets in the classroom!
Mom’s Pantry Reminder
Don’t forget! Mom’s Pantry orders are due this week! Orders must be in no later than Friday, November 1, during the regular morning classtime. Late orders cannot be accepted. Please ensure cheques are made out to Kidsplace Nursery School.
More order forms are available on the Mom’s Pantry website (www.momspantry.ca). The delivery and pick up date will be announced soon!

Classroom Prizes: The top fundraiser in each of our three classes per semester (Sept-Dec; Jan-May) will receive a gift from Scholastic Canada.
Overall Prize: The top overall fundraiser (all classes combined) in each semester (Sept-Dec; Jan-May) will receive a movie theatre gift card (admission for two).
