Now how cute are these? These little Footprint Penguins were made during last week’s “Polar Animals” theme. I’m continually amazed at how creative our teachers are…and how much fun our kids get to have! Thanks Lori, Sherry and Adeline!
This next week (January 28 – February 1) is shaping up to be another fun one, featuring “Weather” as the theme. Maybe the kids will figure out how to encourage Spring to come a little earlier this year!
But just in case they don’t learn that magic formula, we can at least start thinking “Spring” with our annual Glenlea Greenhouses fundraiser! The paper catalogues will be out in mid-February, but if you want a headstart on your plant shopping (and selling!), check out these two PDFs:

Glenlea Order Form 2013
We will have more information coming soon as to when orders need to be finalized, as well as the pick-up date in May. You can visit the Glenlea website HERE or check them out on Facebook HERE.
UPCOMING AND REMINDERS
In February we will be celebrating Valentine’s Day. Each child will need an empty facial tissue box to use as a holder for his or her Valentine cards. So, please keep one of those handy and the teachers will let you know when to bring it in.
If you have a student in the Tuesday/Thursday A.M. class, please remember to bring a roll of paper towels to school. (And if you have already done so, thank you!) The afternoon class will be asked to bring paper towels after the March break.
Also coming up in March…our annual Open House! This event will take place March 5, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the school. Do you have friends or relatives who might be interested in Kidsplace? This is a great way for them to check out the classroom, meet the teachers, and sign-up for next year! Pre-registration for returning students will open in mid-February.
