Featured Friday, Kidsplace Nursery School

ABCs, 123s…and a bit o’ Irish fun!) {Kidsplace Featured Friday}

{I forgot. There. It’s out. Such is the reason this blog wasn’t updated yesterday!}

We’re into Week #2 (Mar. 11 – Mar. 15) of ABCs and 123s at Kidsplace! Last week the kids had great fun making Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Trees, Alphabet Soup with cereal (although more Alpha Bits made it into tummies than onto the craft!) and Alphabet Monsters!

Read through the post for some important announcements and updated fundraising information, and then click on some of the links at the end for some additional fun just in time for St. Patrick’s Day!

Please remember…Kidsplace students AND parents/caregivers MUST remove their outdoor footwear BEFORE coming downstairs to drop off or pick up. Please be considerate and always leave your footwear on the red mat provided across from the shoe cubbies. Wet snow and ice tracks down the stairs and into the school, and leaves a mess for Calvin Christian staff to clean up.

Also, Kidsplace parents and students MUST use ONLY the Kidsplace door when picking up and dropping off. Because we have pick up and drop off times in the middle of the school day, we cannot use other hallways/exits – even quiet talking/walking (not to mention loud talking/running!) disrupts classes already in session. Please save your visiting for outside the school building. Thank you for being considerate in this matter.

FUNDRAISING: Get Your Plants Ordered Now!

Our Glenlea Greenhouses fundraiser is in full swing…be sure to get your orders filled out and back to school no later than April 2. Late orders cannot be accepted. Please note: cheques need to be made out to Kidsplace Nursery School. More information about the fundraiser can be found under the fundraising link in the menu bar above.
